ANTM Alexandria and Brittani Conflict Settled :)

Finally, the conflict among the girls of ANTM, specially with Brittani and Alexandria, was resolved. Like what Kasia said they can breathe easily now that everything is out in the open. Brittani apologized to Alexandria, Tyra and the rest of the judges for the drama last week. All's Well That Ends Well.

On the other hand, the rest of the girls will go to Morrocco to continue the next few weeks of the contest there. Tyra mention that the place was amazing so everybody wanted to get their slot. Unfortunately, Jaclyn didn't make it and was sent home. So now only five girls remain. Alexandria wins challenge after challenge. Brittani is gorgeous. Molly has pretty pictures but not-so-nice attitude. Kasia has an intresting personality. Hannah is a shy girl who has a lot of potential. I still cannot decide who's my bet. But one thing is for sure, ANTM is becoming more and more exciting and fun.

Who's the Bad Girl?? ANTM Cycle 16 Episode 7

I am so hooked with this reality television program- America's Next Top Model. I can't believe how I get so affected with all the happenings. I even cry whenever somebody share a bad experience (LOL). But it's true. But this week, I couldn't help myself but comment on what happened on the show between two gorgeous ladies.

Week after week, Alexandria has shown a negative attitude towards the co-casts and staff of the show. Jay even commented that she's trying to do everybody's job (directing the scene, coaching her activity partner, touching up the make up of another girl etc.)  . That was really an embarassing remark from the coach. Aside from that, she was acting very roughly and disrepectfully in the house which everybody was complaining about.  

But this week somebody stole the spotlight from her.  This was when Brittani made some nasty remarks after Alexandria won the challenge for the week. (She won a brand new Ford Focus 2012
and became the print ad model of the Warriors in Pink Cancer Foundation  sponsored by Ford. I could say that all the girl's were envious. ) Actually , this was not the first time that she made a bad remark about her but this time Alexandria heard everything and said that she can clearly hear her. That sparked the fight. Brittani started to shout at Alexandria  which caught Nigel's (the photographer of the shoot and one of the judges in ANTM) attention. Brittani kept on saying that Nigel made a wrong decision in choosing Alexandria because she doesn't look good, she doesn't look like a model, that she should have been sent home 10 weeks ago and stuff. She said that she would be happy if anybody else had won the challenge except her. 

Nigel brought up the issue during the elimination night. The act was taken against Brittani. According to Tyra, what she did was very unprofessional. All of the judges took their turns in telling Brittani that what she did was wrong. The judges were asked to vote who will be eliminated that night, Mikaela who was the weakest on the week's challenge or Brittani who had an attitude issue. Finally the decision was made. Mikaela was sent home. Brittani was allowed to stay since she had 3 votes to stay while 1 vote to go which was from Tyra herself. Tyra emphasized that it was not proper to act like what she did in front of the client or the photographer.

My Opinion~

Alexandria was very bossy and obnoxious really. She said her being "different" was because her parents divorced when she was young and that she has to grow up fast to protect herself and her siblings. However, her sad experience doesn't justify her mean behaviour. She should always consider how other people feel too. She always says that she is a kind of girl who knows what she wants and won't stop unti she gets it. But obviously, her bad attitude is getting into her way.

Brittani, on the other hand, was one of the strongest among the contestants. She has a pretty face and a lot of potentials too. But at that moment, she's turned into a cheap uneducated disrespecful girl who started shouting at Alexandria in front of everbody including the photographer and the client. She even tried to defend herself and walked out in front of the panel. She did not even bother to say "excuse me" or i'm sorry". That for me, was very rude. 

Therefore, both of these girls have been "bad" but I think both should also be given a chance. Hopefully, this experience taught them a lesson which would make them better and wiser persons.

My First Malaysia Trip

At last, 6 o'clock, time to grab my bag and go to Malaysia. After a long day's work, I hurriedly took a bus and then an MRT to Nicholl Highway. My strides were long and I walked as fast as I could to get to Golden Mile Tower. I didn't had the ticket yet and I didn't know that it isn't like riding a regular bus that you ride then you pay. I looked for a place to buy the ticket from. I ran here and there, yet they said all were sold out and next bus would leave at 10:00pm or later.After 5 travel offices, I found this agency who sold me the ticket going to Kuala Lumpur from the bus company Konsortium . I felt so relieved that I was able to catch the bus scheduled at 7:00pm because when I checked the time it was already 7:00pm.

I sat quietly inside the double-decker bus. The seats were nice and comfy.I was nervous and excited because it was indeed my first time to go out of Singapore. That time I realized God guides me wherever I go because He sent an angel to guide me in that journey. She called her self Shirley. She was pleasant and friendly.She patiently answered all my questions about everything regarding Malaysia. She was with me all through out.

The first stop was at the Singaporean Immigraton after an hour and after a few minutes at the Malaysian Immigration. Then a stop-over at Lucky Garden, Johor Bahru for the passengers to eat, pee refresh and buy some souvenirs.

I didn't eat anything because I just finished munching some cookies and drinking iced tea when the bus stopped and the driver announced that we can go down and take a 30-minute break. Instead of staying in the bus, I accompanied Shirley in buying something to eat. That time I was intrigued and I wanted to see the place as well. There was nothing much inside.just few shops selling noodles, sandwiches, drinks and other snack. There was also a small grocery store and a loading station inside.

After the break, we continued the journey. I was not able to sleep during the trip. Maybe because I was busy reading the green signages indicating how far we were from KL. Maybe I could not bear my excitement because I will be reunited with my love after a long time. Maybe I was occupied thinking about that I see on the road (actually nothing to see much, just the trees and the road itself).

I looked at Shirley. She was sleeping (with her glasses on). But everytime I had the chance, I asked her if it was still far. She giggled and told me that maybe I missed my boyfriend so much that I asked her the question every ten minutes.

After almost four hours, we arrived safely in Ancasa Hotel which was the bus' last stop. Shirley said she and her boyfriend wouldn't leave me not until my boyfriend was there. I thanked her so much for being my guide and I thanked God for her. She was really an angel.

Finally, the long wait was over. I saw my boyfriend together with his friends who went with him to fetch me. I hugged my honeybee and then I know the long travel is all worth it.

First USS Experience Ever

My USS adventure was awesome!

I enjoyed one fun-filled day in Universal Studio Singapore together with some friends since that was a non-working holiday (National Day). We went to Vivo City early enough so we could still have a nice Mc breakfast before we went to Sentosa. After eating and of course, some picture taking, we took the Sentosa Express to the themepark. We arrived a bit early giving us a chance for some more picture taking sessions. We queued on the entrance and claimed the entrance ticket and afterwards the meal and souvenir voucher. From there, we started exploring the place. Some of the themepark attractions were not yet operational then such as the Battlestar Galactica, Jurassic Park and other rides but it's ok since I didn't have plans trying the rides. :P 

The Revenge of the Mummy ride sacred me to death but the rest of the guys asked for one more ride so I had no choice but to go with them. After the second ride, I felt like my world was spinning and I swore I would never ride that coaster again.

I was surprised to see Streetboys performed there. They danced and they we're good. They used a small space in front of a house in "New York City" but they managed to do their exhibitions- jumping and tumbling here and there. They were really superb. The crowd enjoyed watching and dancing with them.

We ended the day buying some souvenirs and went back early, 5 or 6pm, to attend a friend's birthday celebration. Tiring but all worth it!

Well, this blog will serve as my personal journal. :) so I'm planning to write all my wonderful experinces in the past and of course all my adventures in the future. I'm so excited how this will work because this will be my first time after a looong time to write again. I actually created this account a month ago but because of doubts, laziness and lots of negativities I delayed writing posts. But now, I'm here and I'm writing..
